Disability Services

Office of Disability Services

The Office of Disability Services helps students who have known disabilities by working together and proactively with them in order to determine rational and suitable accommodations to ease their experience while at Sampoerna University American College (SUAC). The office is committed to delivering equal access for individuals with disabilities. These disability services are inline with legal requirements, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Furthermore, these services also adhere to SUAC’s College policy.

The office’s goal is to provide services and support to ensure that students with disabilities are able to get access and partake in the opportunities available at SUAC, both inside and outside of the classroom. To achieve this objective, students are encouraged to utilize the resources of the office of disability services to the extent they determine indispensable. Although a substantial amount of independence is expected of students, the office of disability services is available to help as needed.
