Dr. Agni has over ten years experience in Information Technology, including systems engineering, project management, and telco operations management. He has also engaged in several research projects. For example, he worked in the development of a Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) for DBrain Multi-Agents using Gene, Protein, and Drug Platforms on Bio-Grid with new SOA for Diagnostics, Therapeutics, and Treatment of Ageing and Active People; and designed the foundations for a Self-Organizing Service Oriented Architecture in Computational Engineering and Bio Informatics. He also worked in a virtual solar cell project, in which virtual prototypes lowered the cost and improved efficiencies of solar technology. Dr. Agni said he enjoys teaching and sharing with students who are eager to learn: “It is so rewarding when students are able to explore lessons further.”

Prof. Teddy has continuously worked in the IT industry for more than 29 years in various capacities. His research interests focus on Intelligent Environment, pervasive/ubiquitous computing, context aware computing, mobile computing, information security, wireless sensor network, and intelligent environment. He has published more than 130 conference/journal papers (107 papers in Scopus, h-index=8), 4 Computer Science books and more than 20 chapter books which published in USA, Indonesia, Malaysia and Germany. In 2013, he served on committees and review boards for more than 30 International conferences. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and he was the managing editor for the International Journal of Mobile Computing and Multimedia Communications (IJMCMC) and editor for 3 other journals.
He has worked in developing the KKNI/IQF (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia)/(Indonesia Qualification Framework) and SKKNI (Standard Kompetensi Kerja National Indonesia/Indonesian Job Competency Standard). He lead the development of SKKNI for Mobile Computing, KKNI Scheme for Mobile Computing, and KKNI Scheme for Information Security for the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (KemKominfo). As for KKNI for Higher Education, he is the coordinator for the development of KKNI for APTIKOM. In 2015, he lead the development of "Roadmap for Human Resources in ICT for Indonesia 2016-2020" for the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.
He is the founder and was the leader of the Integ Lab (Intelligent Environment Research Group) at KICT, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which has received 43 medals since 2009 from national and international innovation technology competitions. He has won more than 25 ICT-Innovation Awards and he has filed 4 Malaysian patents under his name.

Dr. Media has been working as an academician in education and research institutions since 1992 at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in various countries, i.e. Indonesia, Australia and Malaysia. She has served as Director/Head/Coordinator/Chair of various units, programs, and projects, including SMART Lab and Institute of Social Development and Community Outreach in Sampoerna University. She has published more than 100 research papers in international journals, conferences, book chapters and books in IT and Engineering related areas, where 72 of them indexed by Scopus with H-index=7. She has secured several research projects, won several research awards, and filed several patents in IT related areas. Her research interests include web-based systems and application development, machine learning, ubiquitous computing, Internet of Things (IoT), ICT for teaching and learning, smart systems, activity recognition, and user centered application development. She is also an active member of professional organizations in computing and IT, including a Senior Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), SDIWC (The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications), and IACSIT (International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology). She has also served as committee members and reviewers in many international conferences and several international journals. She is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Education and Technology (JET-ISSN 2354-8533) which is published bi-annually by Sampoerna University.

Mrs. Wahyuni’s areas of expertise are graphic design and multimedia. She obtained a Master Degree in Design from Trisakti University and has a Diploma from LaSalle College in Singapore, where she learned advanced graphic design methodologies and principles. Her technical skills include: Desktop Publishing, Image Editing, Computer Motion Graphic, 2D Animation, 3D Modeling and Animation, and Video Editing. Fifteen years of experience as a multimedia designer has taught Wahyuni to incorporate imagination and insight, creativity and intuition into her design process. Mrs. Wahyuni’s pedagogical approach is knowledge exchange - her students give perspective on the latest technologies and trends, and she complements this with her experience in the design industry.

Rodrigo Gonzalo's studio practice flows seamlessly between research, thinking and image making. Computer language, 3D imaging, sound, writing, still and moving images, appropriation and translation making use of systematic methodologies embedded in Conceptualism are the sources for his work. Informed by research as well as through an observation of those influences that affect how societies operate, Rodrigo is interested in the relationship between art and society at large. Currently appointed Associate Professor, his main focus of academic interest is Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and MoCap. He holds a bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca in Spain, a Master’s degree from the Technische Hochschule Nuremberg in Germany in Design and a Master’s degree in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology in the USA. His work has been exhibited in international art festivals and art fairs in Spain, USA and Germany. He is a visual artist, designer, researcher, lecturer and mentor.

He was Director of Academics of IPMI Business School (2010-2012) before join Sampoerna School of Business (SSB) in June 2012 as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and now he’s the Dean of Faculty of Business Sampoerna University.

Bambang has worked for several financial institution in Indonesia, such as BPKP (Indonesian Government Audit Agency) and the World Bank. He worked as a Consultant for Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) and Woods and Wayside International.
Pak Bambang assisted Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Finance, the Indonesian Financial Intelligent Unit (PPATK), the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) and the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board (BPK) for improving financial management in forestry sector by introducing anti-money laundering approach for curtailing illegal logging, Technology-based forestry audit, and budgeting for climate change program.
More recently, Bambang led financial inclusion project organized by Putra Sampoerna Foundation and HSBC Bank Indonesia. He is currently Chairman of the Association of Lectures for Financial and Economic Development (ALFED) and Chairman of the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountability (IIPA). He first joined Sampoerna School of Business in 2010 as Senior Lecture but then resigned and joined again in 2012 as Head of Accounting Study Program and now is Vice Dean of Administrative & Students Affair of Faculty of Business Sampoerna University.

Dr. Wahyoe Soedarmono’s expertise is in the areas of empirical banking and finance. These include bank risk management, corporate governance, prudential regulations, international finance and macroeconomics.
He was a macro and fiscal policy analyst for the World Bank assessing the outlook of the Indonesian economy and reviewing public expenditure analysis. He also served as a research fellow at Bank Indonesia, analyzing the issues of macroprudential regulations in emerging markets. His academic papers have been published in Q1-Q2 international journals indexed in Scopus, such as: Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money; Journal of Asian Economics; Research in International Business and Finance; and Revue Economique.
He joined the Faculty of Business in 2013 and currently serves as Head of Management Study Program and Project Manager of Banking and Finance education program in collaboration with PT. Bank HSBC Indonesia and Putera Sampoerna Foundation.

For 10 years he was a Financial Consultant for the Department of Agriculture and Department of Forestry for ADB and World Bank projects.
He started to become a lecturer in 2001 until he was assigned as Vice Rector for the Perbanas Institute before joining Sampoerna University in March 2013 as senior lecturer and currently is assigned as Head of Accounting Study Program.

Ivan Butar is a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Business, Sampoerna University. His teaching and research interests include leadership, entrepreneurship, and management research methods.
Ivan obtained his Ph.D. in Organization at Monash Business School. His doctoral research has won awards including Emerald / EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award in the United Kingdom (2012) and Greenleaf Scholars Award in the United States (2011). He was also awarded the Australian Leadership Award (ALA) Scholarship (2008-2012), Australian Development Scholarship (ADS; 2005-2006), and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) Scholarship (1998 – 2000).
He has conducted collaborative research and consulting works with many organizations such as Australian Institute of Management, McDonald’s Australia, Nestle Australia, Palladium Australia, PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Bank Central Asia (BCA), Unilever Indonesia, and Aneka Tambang.
Ivan Butar has co-authored several academic papers including published articles in the Journal of Business Ethics (Financial Times 50 Journals). He has also been involved in reviewing role for leading academic journals such as Journal of Business Ethics and British Journal of Management.
Prior to his current appointment at Sampoerna University, Ivan held academic appointments at the Australian National University (ANU), the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Universitas Indonesia, and spent time as a management consultant.

In Indonesia, Dr. Hudson has worked for Yayasan LIA, Sekolah Pelita Harapan, and HSBC. He also has experience working for an Internet marketing company that was later acquired by eBay. In addition, Dr. Hudson has experience as a small business owner in the food industry.
Link Hudson’s research interest include venture capital internationalization, the decision-making process involved in starting new ventures, and cross-cultural psychology.

Nisa earned her Doctoral degree from State University of New York at Albany, in Educational Administration and Policy Studies department. Her interests focus on school leadership and educational opportunities as her dissertation focused on educational opportunities for children in Eastern Indonesia. She also conducted research studies on accountability in education sector in Indonesia.
Nisa joined Putera Sampoerna Foundation in 2008, after she graduated from her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National University of Malaysia. She started her career with PSF as an in-service teacher professional development facilitators.
Susilowaty is a dedicated English lecturer in at Faculty of Education, Sampoerna University. She got her Master in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIU), USA and received a scholarship from SIU’s international office.
She has passion in English teaching, children's literature, and Indonesian culture. She has been involved as a presenter in various international festivals in some states in U.S., an English examiner for Cambridge and reviewer for some books.
She has been conducting research on English language teaching and school experience program (SEP) and presenting papers to international conferences. She also has written course modules and editing books on classroom action research and SEP.
Her key strengths include curriculum design, material development, English language methodology, assessment, classroom action research (CAR), and school experience program.
Desyarti got bachelor degree majoring Mathematics Education from Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 2007. She was continue her study in Applied Mathematics Study Program, Graduate School of Institut Pertanian Bogor and graduated at the end of 2009. Desyarti’s field of interests are Mathematics Education and Applied Mathematics. Her research includes applying mathematical models to solve traffic problems, the use of technology in the teaching and learning of Mathematics, and active learning in Mathematics. She got research grant from SEAMOLEC in 2012 and the paper has been presented in Konferensi Nasional Matematika XVI. She believe that Mathematics is a thought process, not just a body of knowledge. Learning Mathematics can be meaningful when the learning process allow students to actively explore and understand the mathematics on their own. The learning activity shall integrate the Mathematics into real life application. She aims to teach students about the application of mathematics in the real world to inspire her students and future generations mathematics learners in Indonesia.
PhD in English Applied Linguistics from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya, Jakarta, Indonesia
Dr. Soepriyatna is a passionate educator who has experience and expertise in teacher preparation and development. Having a lot of involvement in facilitating teacher trainings, and Training-of-Trainers (ToT) for various institutions, he has developed training modules and test instruments that are transformative in nature and can bring participants into a new teaching perspective.
He was invited to publish his research on Teacher Competence in Malaysian Journal of English Language Teaching (ELT) Research, and awarded grant by ASIA TEFL (Teaching English for Foreign Language) for his research on Teacher Talk. He believes that teacher is the key factor to a more qualified education. This has brought him to join Sampoerna University that creates future leaders, a new generation of educators.
Dr. Syahril holds two PhD degrees from Michigan State University, one in Educational Policy, and the second one in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education. He also holds two Master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University, one in Curriculum and Teaching, and another in Secondary Education in ESL/Literacy. Further, he was awarded certificates in Multiple Intelligences and Cooperative Learning (Kagan Academy, Orlando, Florida), in Best Practices Institutes in Teaching (East-West Center, Honolulu, Hawaii), and has been certified as Apple Teacher and Google Certified Educator Level 1.
Moreover, he has received a number of fellowships and scholarships including Canada World Youth, Fulbright, Project Tolerance, American-Indonesian Cultural and Educational Foundation, and MSU’s Fellowship to Enhance Global Understanding to Mexico. As a scholar, Dr. Syahril’s work centers on the search for understanding about what it takes to produce high quality teaching and learning for all students. He has written a number of publications, such as on Teacher Training and Preparation, published in the Encyclopedia of Education Economics and Finance (2014), and on Globalization and Teacher Education, published in the International Handbook of Research on Teacher Education (upcoming, 2017).
Dr. Syahril has worked with world-class educational researchers, including with researchers in the Educational Testing Service (ETS), Princeton, New Jersey. His last international research project was Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) Video Study, with RAND, DIPF, and ETS, focusing on classroom observation videos, funded by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Currently, Dr. Syahril is directing the Center for Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum Development at Sampoerna University, Jakarta. He supervises programs for faculty professional development and for supporting students’ learning quality. He aims to be a top education professor in a world-class research university.
Maryam Mursadi or Mima, started her career as a lecturer in 2010. Prior to that, she was facilitator and program development officer in Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute (SFTI).
Mima holds a Master’s degree in Inclusive and Special Needs Education. In addition, she also studied Montessori education. She involved in several research projects with WWF-Indonesia and KEHATI Foundation in area of Education for Sustainable Development. She is also among research developer team for national survey of early grades reading assessment (EGRA) of students in Indonesia (2012 and 2013). Aside of teaching, she is the coordinator for School Experience Program for FoE-SU.
Ms. Syamsi has been teaching in university for more than 15 years, and the privilege has given her a lot of learning experience and opportunities to progress. Her educational background is Teaching English as a Foreign Language and English Literature. She has been resenting her papers in various conference forum, both in her home country or abroad.
She is currently teaching subjects related to English Language Teaching, Literature and Culture in Sampoerna University, while she is also pursuing her doctoral degree in Universitas Indonesia in Jakarta, following her passion to study further on Cultural Studies- a subject very dear to her heart. Her Master's degree education was also on cultural studies, with a research on the legendary band The Beatles in relation to an ideology struggle in Britain, while for her dissertation, she is taking the research subject of Real Madrid CF, a Spanish soccer club that happens to be her favorite club.
Dhitta Puti started her career as an educator in 2002 by becoming a a physics teacher at Mts Al-Huda and in 2003. In 2008, she continued her Master Degree in Mathematics Education at the Graduate School of Education (GsoE), University of Bristol (UoB), United Kingdom (UK). There, she also worked as a mathematics and science assistant at the Primary Education Supplementary School Project, at the Bannerman Road Primary School, Easton C of E and as a Youth Worker at The Southern Brooks Community Partnership. In 2010, she came back to Indonesia and became the Program Director of Ikatan Guru Indonesia (IGI).
Her passion is to facilitate and educate preservice and in-service teachers either through teaching & training and also through writings. She enjoys writing about various issues about Indonesian Education. Some of her articles has been published in books and online-media. Since 2011, Dhitta Puti started teaching at the Mathematics Education (ME) Department at The Faculty of Education (FoE), Sampoerna University. What she enjoys most at FoE is seeing her students develop into lifelong learners and passionate educators.
Acquiring a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in mathematics, both from University of Indonesia; Budi shows interest and competence in scientific and mathematical knowledge and thinking. Having a passionate interest in youth edification, he chose a different path of his career after working in a bank for 3 years. He determined to set his new path by being a teacher in Santa Laurensia Junior and Senior High School in Alam Sutera Serpong, for almost 7 years (2001-2008). To be enable himself to share and develop further his expertise in teaching science and mathematics, he joined Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute (SFTI) in 2008, as a developer and facilitator of Professional Development Programs for teachers in various schools in many parts of Indonesia. In 2011, he joined Sampoerna School of Education (SSE); becoming Faculty of Education in Sampoerna University (FoE-SU), as a lecturer in Mathematics Education (ME) study program. Now besides facilitating mathematics courses; such as Pre-Calculus, Calculus, History of Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics; he also develops and facilitates several workshops on mathematics teaching and learning for K-12 teachers.
Stien’s path as a lecturer in Faculty of Education Sampoerna University was set by her experiences as a high school science teacher in an International Baccalaureate schools -Sekolah Ciputra for 11 years and a facilitator for Environmental Education (EE), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and School Linking program. Stien obtained her Master of Education majoring in Environmental Education and Demography from Jakarta State University.
She is now a member of technical team of Adiwiyata School (national green school awards) for Ministry of Environment (2011-now), and National Research team for Ministry of Education and Culture and other five ministries to review EE and develop EE Road Map for Indonesia (2012-2014). Her commitment on EE/ESD and school link programs won her scholarships to Sweden (2003 & 2009), Vietnam (2006) and India (2010) to boost her knowledge of teaching. Stien is also an international board member of Caretakers of the Environment International, a global network of educators who share their experiences and teaching techniques across the world, a contributing author for an Introduction to Education for sustainable consumption (ESC) in Indonesia, a book published by United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and a scientific committee for World Environmental Education Conference 2013.
Hatim obtained his MA in religious studies from Center for Religious and Cross Cultural Studies (CRCS) Gadjah Mada University. His areas of interest include multiculturalism, theological and civic pluralism, world religions, pesantren studies, extremism, terrorism and radicalism, and character education. He has published several research paper in several journals: journal of al-Jami’ah, Journal Perta, Journal Religio, Journal of Al-Albab, Journal of Welfare, Journal of al-Turast, journal of At-Tarbawi, and journal of al-Muwazah. He also published numerous essays in many newspapers: such as Media Indonesia, Suara Pembaruan, Indopos, Sinar Harapan, Solopos, The Jakarta Post, Duta Masyarakat, Suara Merdeka, etc. His skripsi (undergraduate thesis) is nominated as the best skripsi at “Skripsi, Thesis and Dissertation award” held by Ministry of Religious Affairs, 2006.
He obtained many research grants, community service grant, and non-conventional learning grant from various institutions: Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning Centre (SEAMO SEAMOLEC), Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, and Hivos Foundation. He has involved in facilitating several workshops and trainings as well as has developed workshop modules on his areas of interest for various institutions. He is also a member of caretaker of Asosiasi Dosen Agama Islam Indonesia (ADPISI), an association of lecturer of the religion of Islam: and Rabithah Ma’ahid Islamiyah (the association of Pondok Pesantren) under Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU). Hatim believes that young generation should critically respond the socio-cultural-religious issues and develop a democratic attitude toward diversity.
Deshinta Puspa Ayu Dwi Argaswari studied mathematics education major both in bachelor and master degree. She got bachelor degree from STKIP Kebangkitan Nasional and master degree from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). Deshinta is interested in field of history of mathematics and mathematics development skills especially in geometry. She wrote paper about students’ geometry level of thinking and presented it in 3rd International Conference on Research, Implementation and Education on Mathematics and Science (ICRIEMS).
She also joined community services by giving training to teachers about the use of technology in teaching mathematics in collaboration with Microsoft Indonesia. Deshinta begin her career as educator by teaching secondary level students at BINUS International School Serpong and Focus Independent School Surakarta. After pursued her master's degree, Deshinta started to teach students in university level at Sampoerna University handling courses such us Calculus, Calculus for Business, Mathematics for Business, Linear Algebra and others.
Sisilia is a psychologist which focused on education and human well-being. Her psychological education background was coming from Diponegoro University (1996) and University of Indonesia (2006). She is now student counselor in Sampoerna University and with second role as a lecturer teaching Educational Psychology, Affective Education for 21st Century Learning, General Psychology and Counseling in School Context.
Sisilia had become a counselor and met parents, adolescents and children since 2000. Based on her experiences, children need to be involved in their learning process, that way, they will put their best effort. Sisil interested in the role of awareness and meditation to human full potential. She took her short course about mindfulness in Regents College – London in 2011.
